Fred Penney wanted to have a surprise party for Glenn Baer as a reward for being such a good friend all these years. The gang has been friends for over 50 years. Genn is the glue that has kept us together.
We met at McClellan park where Glenn was very surprised to see me, Mike Boberg, Jeff Penney and Danny Aldridge. We then climbed aboard Fred's private jet and took a flight to St George. After checking in at the Oasis, we stopped by to see old friend Steve Peterson (who was one of our adult church leaders when we were teenagers). After a short visit, we hopped on the jet again and flew to Moab for dinner on the Colorado River.
Then it was back to the Oasis for a long night of shared memories.
